The inventor and place of origin of chili cheese fries is unknown. Frozen chili cheese fries had begun to be sold commercially in the United States by 1975.
The dish is prepared by topping French fries with chili con carne and grated cheese, typically cheddar or American.
Chili Cheese Fries
French Fries cooked in 100% canola oil. Topped with beef chili, and sharp cheddar cheese. Jalapenos available upon request.
Additions:
Lettuce, and tomato $2. Cotija cheese $2.
Pastrami $2
Feeds 2-3 people
Optional: Mashed potatoes / $2 Fried Cheese toast.
